Mostly Teacups
I'm continuing with my daily tea cup selection. This one was Thursday's cup and was made by EB Foley
Today's is also an EB Foley. I love the colours of this was especially!
Yesterday's choice is different in appearance and also because it's not bone china. Pretty anyway.
Here's the bottom of the saucer.
Last but not least is my morning's efforts in the kitchen. Making pie dough is not something I do often but Thanksgiving calls for Pumpkin pies, right?
I used 2 different recipes for the pies. The one on the right is a recipe that calls for condensed milk.
The one on the left does not.
I used the last bit of pie dough to make a half pie using a large apple from the ones we picked earlier in the week.
Thanks for visiting !
Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!!

DeleteDidn't realize it was Thanksgiving in Canada. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
ReplyDeleteYour baked goods look delicious and now I'm hungry. : )
I use condensed milk in my pumpkin pie.
Thank you, Karen.
DeleteI love the yellow teacup. I think it is my favorite so far. I haven't done any baking since I started my weight loss journey :-( But yesterday I bought some Granny Smith apples and tomorrow I will bake something for us... after all, it's fall and we need at least one apple dessert!
ReplyDeleteBe sure to post a picture of whatever you decide to bake!!
DeleteIm absolutely loving your tea cups and saucers. Im a teacup fiend and slowly building my collection again
ReplyDeleteyour pies look so yummy!
Thank you for sharing
Collecting teacups sure is fun!!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I wish we could feel thankful today here in the USA, but many of us are just going on with our lives and trying to ignore the news today.
ReplyDeleteI've more or less quit watching the news. Too depressing.
DeleteSuch pretty teacups. I believe m mom had the same top two. When she passed away all her teacups were divided between my sister, sister in laws and myself. The pies look so yummy! I love pumpkin pie but husband does not. So I don't make them anymore. My church had an apple pie fund raiser this weekend. We made 535 apple pies. Needles to say I bought my pie from the church instead of making my own!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Wow! That is a lot of pies! Great idea for a fundraiser.
DeleteOkay, the pessimist in me has to ask a question. I recently bought a couple of old diner coffee mugs. The thick ones, ya know? Is there any danger in drinking from these old cups? Could they leach anything into our beverage? This question has always prevented me from actually using old cups. I'm sure I'm overthinking things...again. ;) The teacups are so pretty! I usually only make pies at Thanksgiving. I should do it more often. My granddaughter, Audrey, mentions how much she likes my pumpkin pies. (Sometimes they're homemade; sometimes they're Marie Calendar's!)
ReplyDeleteI have no idea whether those old mugs are safe to use.
DeleteI don't often make regular pies any more; I will make crustless pies especially to use up milk that is "going off". We really don't need all that lard-rich dough anyway.
That cuppa tea looks good!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! This was your weekend! I love that blue teacup...so [pretty:)
ReplyDeleteI do love your china cups, I love having my tea in a bone China cup, always tastes so much nicer xx
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you! Your pies looks so good and as always I love your tea cup collection and I love that you use them instead of just letting them collect dust. Thanks for visiting my blog, you're a sweet-pie.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cups and saucers, it has been wonderful to see your amazing collection. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious post! Happy (late) Thanksgiving! Your pies look wonderful. I'd love to get my fingers around that apple one :) And your cup selection this week is just perfect - so delicate!
