I'm late posting these pictures of our Sunday walk. The weather was perfect with just a few summer clouds. That's me on the bridge looking down at what looks like a Beaver Dam.
Beautiful flowers to mark a special day, a birthday perhaps?
So many Swallows, There were many birdhouses and it looked like they were all occupied.
There's a field of blueberry bushes between the grassy foreground and the distant trees. I hope there will be a good harvest again this summer.
We saw Canada Geese with their babies last week but these were the first ducklings that we've seen so far this season.
Thanks for visiting. I hope your day is going well.

It sure looks like it was a beautiful day and the surrounding views are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your Sunday walk with us. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice Sunday-morning-walk!
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful region surrounded by good people of your blessed family.
Sweet baby-ducks!
I always enjoy taking walks with you. It looks a bit chilly??? Spring is always wonderful with the new life in nature, both plants and animals. Those baby ducks are so sweet and cuddly looking.
ReplyDeleteI hope your Monday was just as nice.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
What a pretty walk you had! I enjoyed virtually walking your path. I love the little ducklings so much.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the walk!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Those goslings are dear.
ReplyDeleteWe also had a walk on Sunday as it was a fine day.
ReplyDeleteI love blueberry and I would love to see a beaver dam!
What a beautiful place to walk! Beavers have only been reintroduced in this country in recent years. I would be thrilled to see them or their dam.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been such an enjoyable walk.
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice walk! I wish I could have been there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely walk with nice weather!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a few swallows along my walk too up by the cemetery.
I enjoyed walking with you. Especially having so many swallows!!
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures of your walk. How lovely they all are. Glad you had such a nice walk.
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk. It's fun to see the ducklings and goslings - they are so sweet and fluffy.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and green it is! I love the look of those mountains in the background. I have a friend with a U-Pick blueberry farm. I think I'll get some from her this fall. My son-in-law thought maybe it wasn't a good idea for me to put out suet right now because bears are ransacking neighbor's feeders nearby. I feel sorry for my woodpecker friends. I chased up a lot of ducks the other day on my walk where the road goes over a river. I wish I could identify the different types!
ReplyDeleteI think I recognize the location of those pictures. I just read that an osprey nesting platform is going to be built there - it will be interesting to see what happens with that!
