Christmas at the Thrift Shop

It's rather early to be putting out Christmas decor but the thrift shop often starts early ( and does very well in sales all proceeds going to charity).  So I went to browse and enjoy but didn't buy anything. I thought you might like a peek at what I saw. If early Christmas decorating annoys you feel free to skip this post.

In the photo below you can see just how big this shop is.

  2. All I can say is "WOW!" What an amazing thrift store and so large too I stopped at a number of thrift stores this week, all of which had their Christmas items out but none of them had such lovely displays! It was just all crammed onto tables and shelves. No wonder you frequent it so often - I would too! Now I can see how you find such lovely treasures there!

I see some mighty cute items in those photos. // LOVELY teacup and saucer! You may have told us before and I missed it, but did you make your doilies that you use for your photos/ on your tables? They're so pretty!

  11. Is that the MCC thrift shop in Abbotsford? My dad volunteers there, and my mom volunteers in the quilting room. I love wandering through the store when I'm in town.
I've not started thinking about decorating yet, but I'm pondering gifts and even bought one the other day.

  13. Now that is an amazing thrift store. So neat and clean and pretty displays. Ours seem to mostly just have things thrown onto the shelves, all jumbled up. But should I confess here that I have already purchased a few things for Christmas decor at the thrift store? I love snowmen and bought a few of them. The first photo in your post really caught my eye! I had gotten rid of so many things when we sold the house that I thought I would get a few snowmen. :-)
Once again you've shared a very beautiful teacup with us.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  14. It seems very early to be starting Christmas things, but I guess the time between now and then is going to pass quicker than I anticipate. I should really start thinking about making preparations... :) xx
