Evening Sky and an Amaryllis

The evening sky over Willband Creek last night.  Photo by another Willband Walker J.M.

This was my Amaryllis on Monday....

...and this is this morning

Yesterday the day started with temperatures around 6C and by afternoon it was 18. Needless to say I'm outside as much as possible. Today will be much the same.

I just have to share this ....I usually do the Wordle in the morning before starting any housework and today the most unusual thing happened.  I always start with the same word and today that word was it. I actually got it in ONE TRY. Probably never happen again.

Thanks for coming by

* Linda wondered if the wind had ever blown any garden teacups off their saucers.  So far that hasn't happened but occasionally a bird will land on the edge and tip the cup over. Even if it were to fall it would land on soft dirt.

  2. Congrats on the Wordle. I always do mine in the late afternoon, after the work is done and before I have to gear up to cook dinner. It's a good rest break, but sometimes it doesn't take long enough :-) I've never had a hole in one before though.

  6. I also was thinking of your funny outdoor teacups. Good planning, so your birds will have some drink without making any distress for you! :)

  9. A beautiful sky and amryllis too. Lots of pretty in your world right now. It's going to be chillier here than it has been. 50's for a couple of days before going back up into the 60's. I hope it gets a bit warmer as we're going camping next Sunday for a few days.
    Blessings,

  11. Congrats on your Wordle! I got the answer too but not on the first try, that's for sure! I always do it first thing in the morning (along with "Canuckle") to get the cobwebs out of my brain! Your amaryllis are so lovely, almost makes me sorry that I got rid of all of mine!

  16. How pretty your amaryllis are! WOW! I've never tried to grow any. It has been rather hot here. Already 90 degrees but I am hearing it's suppose to be in the 70's tomorrow. One thing is for sure about Florida weather....WE NEVER KNOW HOW TO DRESS! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
