We've had some days of mixed sun and showers. In between the showers I've been puttering outside, checking what is coming up and what isn't. Sadly there seems to be quite a few empty spots.
I put out the garden teacups. That always means Spring to me. I see I'm going to have to go out there and adjust the height of some of them. Strange that I didn't notice that right away.
We heard so many birds on our morning walk but now that the trees and shrubs are leafed out ( is leafed even a word?) it's hard to see the birds. I'm fairly sure I spotted a pair of Golden-Crowned Kinglets though.
That's it for today. Thanks for coming by.
Teacups outside must mean that Spring is here! I wonder if they fill up with rain, or have you cleverly drilled holes?
ReplyDeleteYes, we're cold again here too, but the rain we need didn't come.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about my glass flowers, but I'll wait probably until the end of the month. May is when we usually put out al the yard art.
Hello GM! The teacups are so cute! I love them! I remember them from past posts and I had forgotten about them. I went at my weeds with the hula hoe today. No real flowers but hearty weeds have appeared. xoPom Pom
ReplyDeleteOh Granny, I love your garden teacups! I smile every year when you put them out. Wish I could admire them in person!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful.

I like your spring tea cups and remember them from other years.
ReplyDeleteYour teacup-garden is unique!
ReplyDeleteI love to hear the singing birds in spring very much!
The quote is true and wonderful!
I wish you (and me) a lot of these luxuries!
Did you make those tea cups? They are so very sweet. The days are getting longer.

Love that meme. It's very true. We've been in the 80's for several days, but a cool down began this afternoon with more severe thunderstorms passing through. We had them all night too and the rain turned everything green overnight. It sure says spring outside now, just like your beautiful teacups. Happy Tuesday evening.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Those tea cups and tea pots are charming! The list of REAL luxuries is so true. Thanks and happy day, V.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful your cups. Generally in Spring one of the most beautiful things is walking and listening to birds chirping. Have a nice day🫖🌼!
ReplyDeleteI love your garden decoration with teacups. I have put out some decorations too. We also have many birds singing but the leaves are not quite open here and we still can see them.
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!
ReplyDeleteYour garden teacups and pot are so wonderful... I like it very much. The different heights are also nicely designed.
Gorgeous, I love it.
