These two came from the thrift store that I made a quick trip to this morning.
The little bird cup is so pretty and the china so thin and delicate.
I like white jugs or pitchers, if you prefer. This one with its touch of pink pleases me.
There will be more birthday teacups but I'll keep those for next week.
Thanks for visiting,
Granny M.
Happy Birthday such a wonderful collection. Love the jam pots and the great find at the thrift store, with the birds. Such an unusual and very pretty pattern.
ReplyDeleteYou're going to need more shelving!! haha :) My favorite is the one with the little purple violets, although they are ALL very pretty and exquisite.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you, GM! I hope it's a grand week and a bold, happy new year for you.
Oh what lovely jam pots! So delicate looking! That is something that I do not have and one would think with all of the jam that I make that I would have several. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that bird teacup! I noticed last week in one of your pictures that you had the top shelf of your display cupboard lined with white jugs. I have a friend who collects white ironstone ware pieces and she has some lovely jugs as well.
Happy Birthday! I love your new tea cups and jam pots!
ReplyDeleteOh those jam pots are so cute! Looks like you had a good birthday. I like the pink cup with the scalloped edges and white inside.
ReplyDeleteI love teacups and can never pick a favorite, they are all so pretty. The jam pots are lovely, great birthday gifts. Happy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteEverything you're sharing is so pretty. I especially love the teacup with the sweet little birds!
ReplyDeleteA very thoughtful gift of teacups for a teacup collector! Very lovely. I think I have 2 if not 3 of the same teacups in my collection! Wishing you a very Happy Birthday week!

It still amazes me that you find so many teacups. It's rare, for me anyways, to find a teacup and matching saucer. Must have something to do with there being so few hot tea drinkers here in the south. My favorites are the two on the right. The one with violets because mama loved violets, but the other one is really pretty...well so it that pink one! Guess I would pick all four. :) Hope you are having a happy birthday week.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the purple flowers one. You certainly have a beautiful collection. How many do you have?
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!! Hope you have a wonderful week! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful china . . . Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHard to choose a favorite. I like the one with the maple leaves and the one next to the birds. Happy birthday!
