Another lovely day and we drove further afield for our walk. The mountains in the distance and the green fields nearby made for a pleasant drive.
On our walk we met many dogs and their people but this was by far the biggest. We stopped to chat and found out that this was a Leonberger dog. He was so friendly.
How's this for opposites? Big meets Tiny. It almost looks like big is shying away from tiny.
My pictures don't do that beautiful dog justice so here's one off the internet to show you just how amazing he looked.
I hope you had a good weekend and are ready for the week ahead.
Thanks for visiting, GM
What an absolutely gorgeous dog. The photos look good too, you don't give yourself enough credit.

What a magnificent looking dog. But, I can’t even imagine taking care of his thick coat. We used to go driving every Sunday afternoon but have gotten away from that now. We usually ended up at Sonic. What fun!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the Leonberger breed. He is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHe is so handsome and looks so intelligent.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous views and that really is a beautiful dog!
ReplyDeleteWOW....he is a big dog but oh he is beautiful! YEP, I bet tiny was about to get him! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice walk. I miss our dog... he was so friendly and would always greet others when we went walking or hiking. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a Leonberger dog but he sure is a beauty. I'm partial to big dogs anyway. Looks like he'd be nice and warm in the winter!!
ReplyDeleteI like the view to the high mountains VERY much! Like here in Bavarian highlands -
ReplyDeleteThe dog is my friend. Nice meeting!
I learned about a new breed today. What a beautiful creature. It does look like the tiny dog is scaring him! He's probably thinking, "Gee, is that even a dog???"
ReplyDeleteWow that is a beautiful dog. I never heard of that breed so had to go on the internet and read about him. Very cool. Glad you had a good walk. Your scenery is gorgeous. I LOVE mountains.
ReplyDeleteNow that is some DOG!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to spend a Sunday, and meeting that dog was special (I wonder how often his owner gets stopped and asked about him?).
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your beautiful spring weather, Mxx
Oh my he is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteHi GM! WHAT a lovely view you have! Those foothills and a NW spring - gorgeous!
