The sunny weather we've been waiting for has at last arrived and I took out the tea cups that I put out every year.
Do you remember this Miss Kitty tea pot from last year? Isn't she cute?
If you're a Gladys Taber fan you might be interested to know that she was born on this day in 1899 which, if she had lived, would be her 122 nd birthday. If you enjoy her books please put that in your comment.
I'm off to do the many things I need (and want) to do amid my flowers!!
Thanks for coming by, GM
I love your beautiful teacups!
ReplyDeleteI do remember your outside tea cups. Such a cute idea.
ReplyDeleteI've never read any of her books.
You are completly right to do, what you have to do and want to do! This is the best way!
ReplyDeleteWhat funny cups in the sunny flowergarden! Miss Kitty is really most nice!
Oh, do have fun in your flower beds!
ReplyDeleteThose teacups certainly make your garden unique - do you have passers-by who stop and take a closer look? I quite enjoy stopping and gazing (staring!) into an interesting garden. I always hope the owners don't mind :)
ReplyDeleteI love your teacups and teapot. How wonderful and clever! I know everyone who sees them would have a smile on their face.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
What fun to combine two of your favorite things- gardening and tea cups. I just bought Gladys Taber’s Stillmeadow book but haven’t read any of it yet.
ReplyDeleteI live that kitty teapot...and all the teacups, too.
ReplyDeleteThey are a joy and a wonderful addition. Did you make them yourself?
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't say I did them myself. My DH cut the wooden circles and glued them to the saucers.
DeleteHet doet me denken aan Chinese jongleer bordjes.
ReplyDeleteHet lukt jou om kop en schotel in de lucht te houden zonder draai bewegingen;-))

What a neat use for teacups!
ReplyDeleteThat kitty teapot just makes that spot in your garden. She is so cute! You know how much I love all your teacups! I need to spend hours weeding. I've let it all get out of control...and now a new puppy to take up my time. :(
ReplyDeleteFun to see your tea cups are out in the gardens!
ReplyDeleteThe tea cups are beautiful and I love how they are used in the garden. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYour tea cups are so adorable! Yes, I'm a Gladys Taber fan. I have a handful of her books and read them a few years back. She's such a pleasant read! I'm part of a Gladys Taber Facebook group. You learn a lot there.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice way to decorate with tea cups! Sorry I have not heard about Gladys Taber, I don't think her books have reached Norway.
ReplyDeleteI do like your Tea Cups G.M. Havn't seen anything like it before - very individual. Cooler days here now with Winter approaching. Best Wishes. KEV. (Sydney-Australia).
