I seem to have a lot of tea pots. I didn't really mean to collect them; it just sort of happened.
In order to go to the back door of our house you have to walk beside what was a boring cement block wall. DH built a wood shelf and roof so I could put anything out there to make it more interesting.
I already had some extra tea pots and it seemed a good spot to line them up.
I found them at different times, all at thrift stores. This pretty one is my latest find.
I think I have around 30, some of which are on the porch over my tea cups.
Thanks for visiting; I'd be interested to know which tea pot appeals to you the most ( if any).

I have a bit of a collection of teapots, too, but I had to make myself stop. I also find them very appealing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of tea pots and cups! Grandioso and special!
ReplyDeleteThe shelf is a good and loving idea for a place for the teapots.
My favourite is..... ???......the tea-pot with the coloured lady :) :)
An impressive collection of tea pots. Like how you have them spaced.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's a lot of tea pots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.

Hi Granny! Oh my goodness what a wonderful array of tea pots you have. I love your newest one a lot. I also really love the one in the picture above the teacups which is 2nd from the right! I used to have a wonderful teapot that was covered in blueberries....I think it was made by a company called Blue Sky or something like that. I gave it to my daughter when we moved here to the condo on the lake. It was my favorite! Thanks for showing us yours! Such a sweet collection! Have a great weekend! It's hot and humid here for the next five days. We usually don't get too much of that weather.
ReplyDeleteI love how you've displayed them! My mother had a large collection of teapots, they were always packed away. I never remember seeing them displayed. What good are things if we can't see them and enjoy them! Have a wonderful weekend GM. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat display! If I were serving tea I would use the one with the apples on it...although the one with the bluebird on top is a close second:)
ReplyDeleteI collect tea pots too! Definitely don't have as many as you but I love my little stash! Love your shelves for displaying.

Displaying your tea pots that way is very charming and unexpected. Do you think they may fade a bit from being outside in the sun? It is such a charming scene, I am sure visitors smile when they see them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the sun ever really hits them because they're shaded by our house.
DeleteMy favorite teapot is the one on the far right over the teacups. I used to have several teapots and a LOT of teacups/saucers but I gave almost all of them away when we moved out of our house. I didn't think I would have anywhere to display them and I was right. You have the perfect spot over the door and along the fence. So pretty and cheerful. Thanks for sharing with us.

What a wonderful way to display them. So you can admire them each time you pass has got to be a bonus. My favourite is the one with the holly leaves it looks as if it is hand painted.
ReplyDeleteDon't they look lovely! Such a good way to display them. I like your new one best.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet husband, to accommodate your collection like that! They are pretty and charming.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super collection!!! I love seeing what people collect....they're so colorful and make the wall a focal point.
ReplyDeleteHi G.M....My-my That is a great collection of Tea Pots. I remember that Mum had a Tea Pot - it was so tiny that I think it held just one cup of tea and a little extra. I don't have a Tea Pot as I tend to make Instant Coffee. All the best to you in Canada. Cheers. KEV.
ReplyDeleteThe "holly" ought to be my favorite but...I love the apples one! But they are all adorable. What a clever way to display them, and the teacups display is stunning, too.
ReplyDeleteI totally LOVE your outdoor teapot shelf!!! I wish I could see that in person! I really love your newest find, so so pretty!! Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteHERMOSA COLECCION, ME GUSTAN TODAS Y LAS TAZAS TAMBIEN, ME ENCANTAN LAS COSAS ANTGUAS. BENDICIONES¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteI really like your beautiful collection! I like the first pot on the first picture :)
ReplyDeleteLove from Titti
I love the pale blue slightly opalescent one in the middle of the top shelf, on the last pic. Subtle but gorgeous.

Girl, I love your collection! WOW and WOW! Some might go missing if I was closer by! Hee-hee
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings, Cindy
A beautiful collection :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection and a great way to enjoy them. One of my best friends has quite a collection of tea pots. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love teapots and have a small collection — nothing as grand as yours but they are just so welcoming and I love how you have them on your wall!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely collection. I am drawn to the one with apples on it. I love the shelf and how they are all lined so that each can be seen in its lovliness.
