Lacking ideas for a post today I've chosen some pictures from the internet that I thought were pretty.
Did you notice that books were in each picture? I have one more pic to show but that one is not from the internet. The books I ordered off Amazon finally arrived. I'm so pleased to have them.
No walk today. The North wind is blowing and the windchill is minus 15 so we thought we'd skip our walk.
Thanks for visiting, GM
Brrr, I wouldn't want to walk in that either! Love your pretty pictures - and happy reading with your new books :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos. I like the same sort of pictures so I really enjoyed them. Your books look good too. I just finished a cozy mystery series from the Library. I listened to them on the Libby (free) app while I was in London after the baby fell asleep or while she was napping. I've found that I really like listening to books because I can knit or crochet or clean house while still "reading"!

Minus 15?!! I'd Be Moving South! Fun getting books that were ordered.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite photo is of the kitties.
Hannah Hauxwell is a fascinating lady. I wonder if you saw the TV programme about her, some years ago now.?
ReplyDeleteI love looking at tablescapes, coffeescapes, teascapes and vignettes! They inspire me. Your books look like good reads, hope you'll share a review when you're done.
ReplyDeleteI did notice the books in all.
ReplyDeleteFavorite is the two cats and the books.
We had a preview of spring here today!!! Hope it warms up for you and you can take your walk tomorrow.
So cold! A friend of my son is working actual in Northern Canada. He told today by telephone about minus 50 degrees Celsius!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures you have chosen from the Internet.
I wish you a good time with your new books! Hanna Hauxwell looks very likable! Seems to be a wonderful woman..
Yes, I did notice that there were books in each picture. I also noticed that there are flowers in most of them. Oh, there's dear Hannah Hauxwell. I dearly love her stories. It was you who introduced her to me. Thanks for that!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, especially the one with the kittens! Also makes me want to get out some of my old books and set up some tablescapes with my china and pretties!

ReplyDeleteLovely photos and yes, at 15 below, I think I'd skip the day's walk...lol
