Daffodils don't do very well for me. Maybe something lacking in the soil. I'm thankful for those that show up.
These tiny bulbs planted many years ago do like my garden. I've forgotten what they were called.
Pasque Flower blooming right on time for Easter.
And Hellebores too.
I've seen some ornamental cherry trees blooming around town and an early white Azalea that I wish we would have planted years ago. Now there's no room left for one. No doubt April will bring more pretty blooms to enjoy.
Have a happy weekend, Thanks for visiting, GM
Happy April!!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to more of your garden And blossoms found around town
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, thanks for sharing. Happy April 1st.
ReplyDeleteLove all your beautiful flowers, Granny. Spring looks like it's definitely arriving at your place. We just got 16 inches of new snow last night....so it will take quite a long time before these mountains of snow melt. Hopefully we will see Spring sometime in May! Last year the Loons returned to our lake sometime in late April.....don't know if that will happen as early this year or not. Thanks for a great blog!
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of pretty spring blooms. Happy April. :)
ReplyDeleteAm loving your helebores, and that black one looks so special :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your hellebores especially <3
ReplyDeleteLook at all of your flowers! Thank you for sharing with us. We didn't get as much snow as Diane, but we did get snow last night. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
So many pretty flowers blooming just now. Your hellebores are gorgeous. The blue flowers are Siberian Squill, I believe, a type of Scilla. One of my daughters has them blooming wild all throughout her rustic garden on the property they moved into in December. We're all enjoying seeing what might come up next!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this new month of April!
Very lovely blooms! Here the fields and yards are still covered with snow. I had hoped to buy some daffodils to put in a vase and add some cheer to our dreary and cold "spring" but was told there was another poor daffodil harvest this year so the florist hadn't been able to get any in. Like you, daffodils don't thrive in my garden for whatever reason.

You have blooms! They all look great to me!
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that you have so many beautiful flowers this early. I especially love the hellebores.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the colors and the blooms! I need to get my behind outside and work on replanting a few things. We did get some new flowers for my window boxes on my She-Shed and some okra planted this week. My potatoes are coming up really good. Happy week to you GM. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteI have trouble growing daffodils too. The greenery comes up often there are just a few flowers. But I keep trying! We still have snow here so nothing will be coming up for another few weeks.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Hellebores, the black one is beautiful. Some of my daffodils have disappeared maybe the bulbs were eaten by mice.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such beautiful flowers. I am so happy to see things turning green again and the azaleas in bloom. I do love spring. Happy Easter to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Easter.
All the best Jan
