Bags

Do you have a collection of bags that you take when you go shopping?   I certainly have many, maybe even too many, but I like them all.  I keep some in the vacuum cleaner closet ( along with  a cast iron pan LOL )  and I have some hanging just outside the door into the garage where I can quickly grab one as I leave.

Recently I saw some very pretty bags on Pinterest.  Do you have a favourite?
My first choice would be the first bag, with the adorable blue checks.

Whatever your day holds I hope it's a good one. Thanks for visiting.

Diane in Wis.    For now we'll keep Kitty's cat tree  in a corner near the freezer (outside)..It's under roof and she likes to hang around that area ( close to the back door so she can beg for food when anyone comes out).

  1. My favourites of the bags would be the first one and the last one. I also have a collection of bags. We shop at Aldi a great deal and so we always need to take our own bags.

  2. Oh my, you do have a big assortment to choose from - I'm afraid mine consist of those one purchases at the stores with the heavy duty ones from Sobeys used the most. From those you featured, I do love the first one as well with the blue checks but I can imagine it would need almost constant washing. The 3rd one is gorgeous - that would be a contender for 1st choice too.

  4. Bags are the way of the future now. I have a varied collection of them in the hall closet, and various other places. Those are some very pretty bags on Pinterest. I like the third one.

  5. Those bags are so pretty but I think my favorites are the first and second. I like lots of yours too. I have more than I need and I got rid of a bunch when we moved the first time. I carry my Bible and my knitting around in them. Usually I only take a bag into Aldi's. I did buy several when I was in London last January because you have to have you're own bag. They fold up very small so I took them back with us in September.

  6. Nice bags! Good idea!
Kitty is begging or food: Who can resist? :)
My neighbour's cat is new here and he begs me for food and wants to come inside to rest here from his naughty brother. For me it's no problem, but my neighbour is VERY angry against me :(

I have my fair share of bags and find them hard to resist. :) I take my knitting along in them too.

  13. Great bags to use for projects such as knitting etc.
I have the grocery shopping bags and leave them at home or in the car and on the odd chance I do make it in the store with them I am so proud of myself. My daughter gave me a bag that rolls all up tiny and I have used that bag so many times as I keep it in my purse.

  16. Thanks for the info on where you keep your cat tree.....sounds like a good place! And yes, my favorite bag is the same one you chose....the pretty blue checked one. I have a few bags around, but rarely use them. Since my surgery four years ago, I rarely go out now.
I do make it out to church though, and an occasional dinner out.

  18. All of the bags you have shared are alot prettier than mine. I keep a collection in the trunk of my car for grocery shopping. They mostly come from the grocery stores. I do have a pretty one for the beach/pool and a nice book bag I use when we travel.

  20. You do have lots of pretty bags. I have solid color bags that fold up into 2 inch square and fit in bag with a draw string. It fits in my drink holder in the car, so I never forgot my reusable bags. They're nylon so super light weight and washable. Love them, bought them years ago on line when people first started talking about trying to be more "green".

  21. Bags :-) yes... I'm for it.
When I first started sewing, I sewed bags - a lot of them. It is so much fun.
Thanks for the copies you show... they are some favorites... Hug.
