Flowers for Easter

 Daffodils from a roadside stand

Cymbidium Orchid .....  I had to look this one up. I have never seen one before.

At first I thought this tiny Kalanchoe was fake but it's real!   Eldest daughter did the watercolour.

Thanks for visiting,  GM

  1. Lovely watercolor of your plant! I was hoping to get some daffodils too but was not able to find them in the store again this year. Is this a new orchid for you?

  4. All of your flowers are so beautiful. It's always nice to have a bouquet of fresh flowers in the house. I haven't done that for awhile. Maybe it's time for some spring flowers. Your daughter is very talented, the painting is beautiful.
    Blessings,

  5. Lots of blooming going here outside. I have a few camellia flowers with some Muscari in a little vase on my kitchen table. Pretty.
    Your indoor blooms are lovely.

  12. Yes, the daffodils are beautiful... that lovely yellow... I also bought a bouquet and they come from England.
And I - just like you :-) - couldn't stop myself and bought another bouquet of Levkojen - they are from the Netherlands -
It's wonderful to have colors in the house.
You show beautiful flowers and the doily is so wonderful... just like your daughter's watercolor. Thanks.
Today, for Good Friday, we traditionally eat fish.
I wish you a happy Easter. Viola

  15. Beautiful flowers. When I grew up in the north of the province, we would come to the Fraser Valley for Easter and I marveled at all those beautiful daffodils growing along the roadside, and in the freeway median. I bought a bunch of tulips and friends brought a bouquet of mixed flowers. Happy Easter!
