Plant Shopping

We picked up Eldest first thing after our breakfast and morning walk and off we went to buy bulbs since it must be about the right time to get them in the ground now.  We chose tulips of different colours and many daffodils ( husband wanted the plain King Alfred ones).  We're holding some bunches of fresh flowers that they had there for a good price

 So many choices!!!

There was even an African Violet that 'accidentally' got into my basket.

After we dropped  Daughter off we went to have coffee with Husband's brothers and sisters-in-law.   We like to stay up-to-day with each others lives especially as we all get older. Came home ready to relax for a while then go out and putter in the sunshine.  We are having such lovely days.

Thanks for visiting,  GM

  2. I love to see, that you have lovely days! In the flower-shop you made good choice: Spring now wants to wait in your garden! Fine to meet good near friends/relatives and to exchange experiences.

  6. These days are so very lovely. A visit to a nursery is always inspiring. I bought some bulbs recently and will likely plant them after the weekend.

  7. How fun for you. I love the look of all the Fall bulbs when they arrive in the stores. In years gone by I bought many of them to plant. Such fun and they were always so beautiful. Good for you! Enjoy.

  13. It looks nice! I have to go and buy some bulbs too soon. I will do a new try with bulbs on my balcony. The first year I tried I didn't succeed. Now I will keep them under the roof, the previous ones rotted due to alternating between rain and frost.

  14. Good afternoon GM. Your early spring garden is going to be so colorful. I have some bulbs I need to get into the ground very soon myself. Hopefully the squirrels won't make a snack of them over the winter.
