Monday

Not much to blog about so I thought I'd post some Monday-ish pictures from  Pinterest.

I did bake scones on the weekend. As usual no two were the same size ( but they tasted great)..

I chose a teacup with Daffodils as today's teacup. It was made by Roslyn.

Thanks for coming by,  GM

  1. Sweet Monday-laundry-scenes! Funny the poem! When I cleaned my house today I knew: Granny Marigold has loundry day today!
    So I'm not alone :)
I washed all the blankets of the TV-room . It was sunny, cold(fresh) and stormy, so all the blankets were dry after one hour outside.
You are a professional baker! You are a cup-knower! I would like to enjoy one of your fine scones and have a cup of tea from this nice cup!

Your scones look delicious and would go so nicely with tea in that beautiful tea cup. The daffodils make me long for spring.

  7. Monday is sheet washing day here. I love the daffodils on the cup. It won’t be long before they will be blooming in our yards, but I am not going to rush spring. I am still enjoying a bit of r & r. Hilltop Post

  10. I don't know that I've paid attention to what days I do the laundry. I'm sure it's all over the place. When it looks like the basket is full or getting there, I throw a load in, but those cute old timey Monday Laundry Day Photo's made me smile. Your scones look yummy, and your tea cup is beautiful.

  13. I love the laundry pictures! I'll be happy when the days are warm -- or dry -- enough for me to use the clothesline again. Though the dryer is a godsend, too! Your scones look delish.
