Not much to blog about so I thought I'd post some Monday-ish pictures from Pinterest.
I did bake scones on the weekend. As usual no two were the same size ( but they tasted great)..
I chose a teacup with Daffodils as today's teacup. It was made by Roslyn.
Thanks for coming by, GM
Sweet Monday-laundry-scenes! Funny the poem! When I cleaned my house today I knew: Granny Marigold has loundry day today!
ReplyDeleteSo I'm not alone :)
I washed all the blankets of the TV-room . It was sunny, cold(fresh) and stormy, so all the blankets were dry after one hour outside.
You are a professional baker! You are a cup-knower! I would like to enjoy one of your fine scones and have a cup of tea from this nice cup!
Those scones look delicious.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all the illustrations. The third one reminds me a Hummels.
As in your illustrations. it was washing day for us too. All done now.

ReplyDeleteThe Monday of dollies is my favorite!
I don't know that I've paid attention to what days I do the laundry. I'm sure it's all over the place. When it looks like the basket is full or getting there, I throw a load in, but those cute old timey Monday Laundry Day Photo's made me smile. Your scones look yummy, and your tea cup is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMjammie: scones!
ReplyDeleteNow I need to make scones! Maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour scones look amazing and I bet your kitchen smells amazing, too. Love the vintage pictures, especially the one with the dollies in the tub. Don't know why I keep coming up anonymous. This is Connie from Crafty Home Cottage.
ReplyDeleteI love the laundry pictures! I'll be happy when the days are warm -- or dry -- enough for me to use the clothesline again. Though the dryer is a godsend, too! Your scones look delish.
