Covid and Pie

We had a pleasant walk this morning...a slow one because I don't have my energy back yet. My Dear Husband somehow managed to pick up Covid and of course I caught it from him.  It wasn't awful but still no fun at all.Of course we were stuck at home and no one wanted to be anywhere near us. But we're fine now and enjoying the beautiful sunny days that just keep on coming!

I haven't been doing much in the kitchen except for a Crustless Pumpkin pie that I made 2 days ago
( it's long gone).   This coming week I'll have to get busy.

I hope you have a great weekend.

  4. So sorry the two of you have been sick. That is no fun at all! I had not heard of a crustless pumpkin pie but that would be a great idea for people with gluten intolerance.

  8. Oh my goodness. I'm sorry about the covid. Apparently several people at the wedding tested positive for covid earlier this week. No one in our family though. I'm still not feeling well with a cough and fatigue, but Mandy has both of those and lost her voice too. She's had to work all week with it which is no fun. She's an RN that works from home on the phone which doesn't help her voice. I hope all of this doesn't mean we're going to have a bad winter full of illness.
I'll pray that you'll soon be back to your energetic self my friend.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  15. O my brave friends! My eldest sister also was sick because of Covid last week. She had fever and headache and was very weak. She is well again now after one week. Covid does not leave this planet, . . . thanks goodness this illness now is not as dangerous and heavy as two years before, but it's terrible enough! Best wishes for your perfect recovering! Have a lot of fine walks and some goodjoy with your Laundary-Monday and following free time..

  17. So sorry you've had Covid. I think it's endemic and we must learn to deal with it as best we can. Resting is the best medicine. Take care.
