It's later afternoon as I finally sit down at my computer. I had a productive day if I say so myself. I got all my new plants either into pots or in the ground.
On my morning walk I saw a duck family; those ducklings are so cute!
The 2 goose families have joined forces. I suppose there's safety in numbers. I wouldn't want to mess with the adult geese; they are so protective.
Some housework also got done today. There were cobwebs high in the stairwell which I had no chance of reaching even with my long-handled mop. A 6 foot son on a 6 foot stepladder holding that mop sure made short work of that job.
It's 26C (79F) and the change from recent cool and rainy days makes it seem very warm. I think I'm done for the day. I hope you had a good one too.
Thanks for visiting
Love seeing those ducks and geese. Glad you had a hand with those cobwebs! Sounds like you had a good day! Take care.
ReplyDeleteI would say that you had a very productive day! I finished raking out the flower beds, did four loads of laundry and made lunch and dinner! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDucklings are such lovely little bundles of fluffy joy when they are still that tiny. It sounds like you have had a busy day - and tall sons are definitely a bonus when it comes to things in high places! :) xx
ReplyDeleteHowdy, GM! Glad to see you're enjoying nature and using your green thumb. Yes, those 6 ft. tall sons do come in handy! I see it's supposed to be 77 here today. That does sound warm...but nice! Have a great day. :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely sunny day here today, but the forecast isnt good. How sweet those babies are!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so beautiful - I love this weather! Gardening is on my list of things to do this weekend. Ducklings and goslings are so much fun to watch. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteI steer clear of any goose...not scared to death of them, but just have a respect for them. It comes in handy to have someone tall in the family!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful picture of the geese!
