My morning walk in a light rain was quite uneventful. Didn't even see the Eagles that I saw yesterday on one of the tall trees overlooking the lake. Yesterday's walk was interesting as we saw 3 police officers subdue and cuff a young man who apparently had been throwing knives at a tree. It was not a good idea.
I have put away my Autumn teddy bears and taken out the Winter ones. I think it's the first step in my preparations for Winter and Christmas. As usual I must apologize for the poor quality of my pictures.
Teacup #31
Thanks for stopping by today, GM
I never did put my Christmas boxes all the way "away" last year -- some are sitting in the junky spare bedroom that no one needed all this time. And I hadn't put my Christmas bears into a box at all, so they are sitting on the bed just waiting to come downstairs, the dear patient fellows. I'm sure they'll be glad to have some children in this house this Christmas, God willing, to play with them a little. Last year they had to stand in for a lot of Christmas decor that did not happen.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh,my!!! Are these bears precious!!!! Darling. Seriously, just darling.
ReplyDeleteI see some writing in the tea cup, will have to enlarge it after I post my comment

What fun to see your winter bears have been brought out. I looked for my favorite, but I think it may be a summer bear. I do love the bear on the left in the third picture. I would like to make one of the dolls a dress like that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea to change the teddybears from autumn to winter. A lovely story in your house.
ReplyDeleteThe happening with the young man and the police was strange - -
Great teddy bear collection!
ReplyDeleteYour winter teddys are wonderful. What great collections you have!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to get your bears out. I'm looking forward to finding spots for my snowmen but since we're hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner I'll wait until after that to decorate. Then the contractors will tear up the bathrooms the next Monday so maybe decorating isn't a good idea at all?!
ReplyDeletePretty cup and very appropriate timing. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
