Blogger is being difficult this morning. A quick post seems to be impossible. Grrr.
Anyway, it's quite a nice morning and my walk was lovely. I saw 5 rabbits and lots of geese.
This large bunch must be the result of 2 families getting too close together and the goslings got mixed up. It seems to happen every year.
This family with 5 goslings was the first one we saw a couple of weeks ago. The young ones are already at the lanky stage.
On the way back I pass this house which is being torn down. The big house next door to us is going to be up for sale and that family is planning to build again, on the site of this little old house. No doubt it will be another huge house.
Another outdoor tea pot on the ledge.
Thanks for visiting today, GM
So many goslings! How fun to see all of them. Beautiful teapot.
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep your teapots outdoors without them getting broken???!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the goslings; precious. And those teen-aged geese grew up quickly!
Bet those little ones are entertaining to watch! It will be fun to watch a new house go up. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet families of goslings. Do you suppose they know which one is Mom so they can follow her? That's probably a dumb question but I always wonder.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad about that little house. One of my favorite youtube channels is "Escape to the Country". It's all about people moving from the cities to the country in the UK. My favorites are the little quirky homes in villages around the countryside. I don't like cookie cutter mcmansions and I live in a cookie cutter house now. It's not a mcmansion by any stretch, Dennis' s Mom's house is bigger, but it's still bigger than I would like. Living in the camper for a year gave me a taste of tiny, simpler living and we both loved it.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Wow that is a lot of little ones all together. Haven't seen any babies here by us yet. There are so many little ponds around that sometimes they don't stay at the pond in town.
ReplyDeleteA big admiring smile flew over my face, when I saw these great number of goose-children! Modern style of family-organizing! :)
ReplyDeleteIncredible, but it seems it works!! Nature has not too much time, so the birdbabies have to grow fast!
What a pity, that the small house will be destroyed and a big house will take its place.
Nice teapot!
Bigger and better, or just bigger?
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see that clutch of goslings! Little houses all over are being torn down for big ones. Such a pretty teapot. You have a great collection.
ReplyDeleteThe goslings grow so fast! Very cute when they are little and yellow!
ReplyDeleteI would imagine They all know who’s who! But isn’t it great fun to see these adorable little ones!
ReplyDeleteIt was amazing to see the two families of goslings together, what a joy.
ReplyDeleteThe goslings are adorable, and today's teapot is really pretty :)
ReplyDeleteFun to see all the goslings! I've had a few good walks this week. Finally! Oh no. Will you get another McMansion in your neighborhood? I hope all will be well. Hugs from Minnesota!
