In the Garden

Middle of the week again...the days pass so quickly.  I try to get outside every day to try to keep the jungle under control.  BTW, scalding weeds works very well and it's gratifying to see them shrivel up immediately!
Tulips are at their best right now.....

I put out the teacups like I do every year.

The cat tea pot is still a favourite.

A couple of lavender plants needed replacing so I did that.

I'm off to sit on the porch before it gets uncomfortably warm out there. I hope your day is good.

Thanks for visiting

  2. I found some vintage tea cups and tea pots I would like to put them in the garden. But how did you do for your tea cups and tea pot, did you glue them or make a hole?
    I love the idea.

  4. A good day to spend in the garden. I did a little weeding this morning while one of my granddaughters was in preschool. The other one played out in the garden alongside me. Such beautiful weather we're having.

  5. Our tulips and daffodils are gone already. But, there's plenty of color coming.

    Love the quote.
I didn't know about scalding weeds. Will give it a try.

  11. I might try boiling water on the weeds between the garden stepping stones. Digging them out is an impossibility and I don't want to use a weed killer.

  13. I always love your teacups in the garden. Oh, and I love opening your blog and seeing all those lovely teacups in the banner. Sometimes I pause and try to pick a favorite...I can never pick just one.
