New Trails and a Problem Commenting

Grandson M took us to a new-to-us hiking trail on the weekend. Actually it branches into various different trails but he kindly took us on the most level ones. As you can see there's a sharp drop-off beside the path. You may be able to see it better in the next picture.

Somewhere I have a picture of those two walking just like this taken ten years ago!

It's great to have different places to go walking all within 6 km of home.

I'm once again having trouble commenting on certain blogs. Why now? I haven't changed any settings. These are the ones I can't comment on at this time:

Linda Letters

My Home and Garden

HWIT BLOGG

Furry Gnome's Adventures

I will keep trying because obviously I could, until now, comment, so what's changed?

I hope your week is off to a great start. After a couple of lovely sunny days we have clouds and showers but since I had lots of laundry etc. to do I didn't mind. I do hope for sunshine tomorrow though.

Thanks for visiting, GM

  1. Such a lovely place to go walking along. I hope that blogger will clear up for you soon. Sometimes, it's just a glitch. We are getting cloudy weather.......hoping for some rain!

  2. It's lovely to be able to enjoy a walk locally.
I think many bloggers are still experiencing problems with leaving comments, I can only comment as anonymous on some blogs!

    Enjoy your week.

    All the best Jan

  4. This look like a nice smooth trail to hike. I enjoy these types of well marked trails, as I not nimble enough anymore to walk on wild ones. It is also nice to have these trails close to your home.
By the way I had a difficult time to comment on your blog. I had to close it and re-open it 3 times and it finally worked.

    1. I'm sorry you had a problem commenting. I've checked my settings and they seem fine. I'm stumped. Nevertheless, thank you for coming by.

  5. Love this picture!! I had to be sure that I was?signed in to blogs as suddenly I was posting as anonymous instead of as me. Making sure I came up with my name etc by "Google " account instead of anonymous is something I had to do.

  6. I also wasn't able to comment on at least one Blogger blog. I hope this comment goes through! It usually takes me a couple of tries to post a comment here; I have to copy my comment, refresh the page after getting the message "An error occurred," and after the page is refreshed, paste the comment back in. By then Blogger has inserted my Google profile and removed my WordPress one. Oh well!

How lovely to be introduced to a new walking route. I have introduced two friends to new walking paths recently, but I would much rather someone else be the one to scout out new places to explore.

  8. This way looks marvellous! Grandchildren mean, Grandparents can do this easily :) You did it!

Blog-comments: I have a bloggerfriend Elke from the Northern sea. She told in her new post, that sh is not able to comment anywhere, even not as "anonymus". I think it's a problem of Blogger..Maybe they change anything..

  9. I did a post about this a long while back but can't find it. Just go into your profile settings and do something...lol...I'll try to find the post....I have to go with my sister this morning to her Oncologist appt but will look when I get home. Does it tell you you're Anonymous?

  11. That is such a lovely photo. We don't have many country places to walk close to us. Just city sidewalks. The rain is supposed to arrive in an hour or so and stick around all day. That's fine with me because it's been in the 90's all week and its dry outside. I can't comment using my phone or Ipad anymore. Only on my laptop. Blogger does get frustrating.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  14. So nice to discover new walking places.
Some times when people comment on my blog it goes into the spam folder for some strange reason. Does that for a little while and then goes back to normal. Blogger just goes crazy sometimes and it isn't anything you do differently.

  15. What are you using? An I pad? If so I cannot comment on blogs that have the reply feature enabled when I use the I pad however on my Imac desktop I have no problems.

  16. Such a lovely place to go for a walk. Autumn leaves falling make it extra special. So sorry to hear about your commenting issues. I notice that you are still Anonymous on my blog. (Lorrie - just in case)
