Full moon and Kitchens

The full moon last night was as lovely as usual. The January moon is called the Wolf Moon after the howling wolves that used to exist during the cold winter months  (according to the Farmers Almanac). The moon will appear super bright for about 3 days from Sunday until Wednesday.

I took the picture from the internet.

It's a normal Monday here. We walked around Mill Lake before DH left for Gleaners. I started laundry. Since I don't have much to blog about I thought I'd show a few pictures that I was admiring on Pinterest last evening.  Mostly kitchens.

I'm not sure about pink in the kitchen. What do you think?

Maybe pale green?

This one I really like.

If you're still here it's amazing. Thank you for putting up with my excuse for a blog post on this wintery morning. Have a great day.

  1. Loving those pinterest pictures. I have a new love for the color pink since battling breast cancer but I must say that my eyes went straight to the red and white kitchen. I hope you are surviving the cold. Us Floridians are getting cold weather! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  4. I was sitting here wish I could remember the website my daughter had me look at....not kitches, but rooms of my dreams.

I would love to be able to design my own kitchen...I did enjoy yourphotos.

  5. I enjoyed the pictures of all the different kitchens. My mom went through a phase when pink and gray were her favorite color combinations. She did our kitchen and my bedroom in those colors.

Love the signs at the end. :)

  6. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of the kitchens.
A friend (many years ago) had quite a vibrant pink in her kitchen and we used to joke you needed sunglasses on because the colour was so bright! I do prefer a more muted/softer shade.

    All the best Jan

  8. Wolf Moon ⭐️✨🌟💫 Thank you for this information! I LOVE your moon-name informations! I would love to make a painting. This wolf moon here was (is) so light. We have clear cold weather, best opportunity for showing all his dignity (I mean the moon).

  11. lol to the memes! They really are funny.
I think the pink is cute but it's a little much for me. I do like the green but my favorite are the 4th and 5th photos. Both green but one with more white and the other floral. I enjoyed looking at the photos today. It was a great post!
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  12. I would like a pink kitchen if I had a very small house. I like my green cupboards and I'd like red, too. I've really never had a very efficient kitchen but I've survived and also been able to prepare food for a crowd, so I'm grateful.

  13. They are all lovely kitchens, it's hard to pick. Pink is a pretty color and fanciful...but I can't picture my kitchen in pink..Your signs make me laugh. Are we in the duldrum of winter? More snow is arriving here in Ohio. We are gaining daylight every day, that is a good thing.

  15. I don't think I would enjoy having an all pink kitchen. It was fun to see photos of different kitchen styles. The memes at the end made me laugh.

  16. Hi GM, if you are making bread in your bread maker, that is indeed making baking bread. Use what you have, and what you are able to do. The joy is in the making however you get it done, I'm sure your family enjoys your bread and the effort you put into it. I had a bread machine many years ago, and I like the way it kneaded the bread. I didn't bake it in there but used it to mux it up.
