The muffins yesterday were a success and I'll be making them again. They were not garlicky enough because I didn't have fresh garlic and used garlic salt instead. Next time I'll be sure to use the real thing.
DH received a Keurig coffee maker at Christmas and I think I've been using it more than he has. It's strange that for most of my adult life I much preferred tea. Earl Grey to be exact. I'd have one cup of coffee at breakfast and that was it. Slowly I began to prefer coffee and that's where I'm at now. I take my coffee no sugar no milk but I do like flavoured coffee. The coffee pods I bought for the Keurig are Vanilla Biscotti and are very good.

Your muffins look delicious! I've never been able to be convinced that coffee is better than tea. :) I am a tea drinker through and through. I enjoyed both of the signs at the end of your blog. :) Made me chuckle.

How interesting that you now enjoy coffee. I've always been a coffee drinker. My husband won't touch it. I've given up on trying to persuade him.

ReplyDeleteHilarious signs! Those muffins look so good. Anything with garlic is good in my book. It's a good thing that Dennis likes it too. :-) I've never drank coffee and prefer tea but I LOVE the smell of coffee grounds before brewing. Like when you open the can for the first time. Dennis has one or two cups in the morning and that it but we have a good friend, (our pastor), who drinks coffee up until bedtime. I can't believe he's not up all night long.

ReplyDeleteI like tea and coffee both, and drink a wide variety of teas, from herbal to Earl Grey to Yorkshire Gold, Bewley's Irish and on and on. Unfortunately hubby only likes regular coffee, so it is rare for me to make the flavored coffees.

ReplyDeleteI love a savoury muffin and yours look really good. I don't drink coffee at all, but my husband does. He doesn't have a Keurig, but a one-cup coffee maker that is very useful. We keep the larger one in the cupboard for when we have guests.

ReplyDeleteMuffins are so good with a cup of coffee. I drink my coffee black and I also enjoy flavored coffee on occasion. I like french vanilla and hazelnut. With the hazelnut I add a teaspoon of sugar.

We have a keurig and have used it for years. They make coffee so easy.
ReplyDeleteI have saw both...there was an actual billboard near out old home. I noticed it one time and the next time or the time after when I was going that way, I took my camera to get a photo and it was no longer that sign. I think both are funny.
