This is NOT an Easter rabbit, just a cute little bunny. I wouldn't want to be accused of posting Easter pics too early although I just counted the days until Easter and there's only 29. Do you get together as a family for Easter? Daughter Sheila plans to host an appetizer ...brunch, perhaps? She hasn't said what exactly it will be.
My pots of daffodils are looking good. They got so tall I've had to tie them together.
I don't know what the ones with the orange centers are called but the white ones below are Bridal Crown. Once they're done I will plant them all outside.
The plumbing problems are solved and all is well in the kitchen. Here's the new sink and faucet.
That's it for today. Thanks for visiting, GM
I love your idea of first enjoying flowers inside then moving them to outside. What a fantastic room this sunny room is. How nice and clean the new kitchen sink looks...all the better for cleaning up those dirty dishes that keep on a 'Comin'. :~/
ReplyDeleteI need to get busy outside, as well with my plantings.
ReplyDeleteLove the new sink!
hugs
Donna
I like that sort of sink! Love the flowers 💐
ReplyDeleteGlad the plumbing is sorted. Your daffodils are pretty :)
ReplyDeleteYour "new " kitchen looks great! And very good that the problems are fixed. Your flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice looking sink!!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased the plumbing is sorted. Your new sink and faucet look good.
ReplyDeleteEaster will soon be here, we do enjoy family get-togethers.
All the best Jan
Your sweet daffodils are too pretty! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your new sink and faucet. Yes, we always have Family Dinner on Easter Sunday and then the Conner side of the family gets together that afternoon and we do a huge egg hunt. Big and little kids love it. Most often we carry dessert and lemonade but truthfully everyone not hungry as we've all had a big Sunday dinner. We love celebrating Easter and Resurrection Sunday together. I hope your week is wonderful for you dear GM. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYour daffodils are looking great.
ReplyDeleteNo, we don't do anything special for Easter. Just go to church like every other Sunday! :)
Beautiful daffy's! It's colder today than it's been most of the winter. Spring seems far away. Cute bunny picture too. I like your new faucet and sink. Isn't it a relief when plumbing gets sorted out?
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Oh Granny, I love your new sink and faucet! Love all your blooming daffs too. So fun to see flowers blooming. We are in a snowstorm and hopefully it will end tomorrow morning sometime! I just finished a wonderful book about rabbits...an old bestseller called Watership Down. Somebody recommended it so I thought I'd try it. I loved it. An adventure book about rabbits! I shed a tear when it ended. Really!
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention what we do for Easter. Usually our daughter and her family come up here...but as luck would have it, this year, on Good Friday, our son-in-law is having 2 wisdom teeth extracted. I can't imagine him feeling well enough to travel the next day. Might have to postpone our Easter celebration for awhile.
ReplyDeleteGlad your plumbing problems are solved; bet you are too! I am always amazed at how full and healthy your house plants are, I wish I had your 'green thumb.' Our family usually gets together after church, I haven't heard one of the girls mention anything for this year yet.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Daffodils, the first flower to bloom in spring. The white ones we've always called Joaquils and they have a nice scent. At home, my Daffodils are blooming even with snow currently on the ground. I've never planted them in a pot. We don't get together for Easter.
ReplyDeleteYour new sink looks almost identical to mine. And those creamy daffodils with orange centers are always my favorite!! Yes, Easter is coming fast...
