Good Monday Morning!!! It's a frosty one but not a cloud in the sky so no doubt we'll see double digit temperatures this afternoon. Sunrise was just before 7 and we had not yet left the house so we missed it. The PD posted this photo though..
Tomorrow just after sunset 5 planets___Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus and Mars__ will line up near the moon. I must remember to look for that sight.
It being Monday I'm doing laundry and generally tidying up the house. What does your day look like?
Thanks for visiting, GM
We had hubby's doctor appt this morning and I bought a new kitchen faucet...not a fun day...

You reminded me... I should do some laundry today as well. Love the graphic of the little girl washing clothes. Reminds me of days long ago. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThat is just what I thought when I read this!
DeleteIt's cloudless and sunny here too, low 40's now at 10:00. I have the laundry well under way and am doing my second hip icing of the morning. That happens six to seven times a day, plus three sessions of PT exercises. In between I will finish putting up my Easter/Spring decorations. I did the dusting downstairs yesterday in preparation for decorating. Resting, blogging, reading and cooking dinner fill my day. I am still in recovery mode but working on getting my life back..
ReplyDeleteLaundry and tidying the house and crafting in the afternoon
ReplyDeleteWe've had sunshine today ...
ReplyDeleteI too was doing some laundry, always nice to get it done!
Enjoy your week.
All the best Jan
My Monday consisted of my friends gathering for yoga, errands and then home to make Marty and I some stuffed belle peppers. They are smelling mighty good too! LOL! I hope your week goes well dear GM. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful clear cold morning-sky! I love the photo!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the interesting information of the special constellation of five planets! Maybe we can watch in Germany this phenomen, too. In this moment (it is midnight now) it's snowing like Christmas!!
Monday is my house-cleaning-up-day. Now all is perfect - nearly :) and I can go through the week.
I'll be looking up in the sky too.
ReplyDeleteLove the wash day illustration. I did a load of laundry today too. I usually do when we have a nice day because I hang my clothes out on the line.
Thanks for the reminder. I will be watching. I spent the afternoon clearing weeds out of the flower beds. It was a beautiful day here.

ReplyDeleteYes, I need to remember to look for those 5 planets tomorrow too! Monday is always wash day here but it went pretty fast this morning, I'm happy to say. Tonight I'm catching up on my favorite blogs and just relaxing. Did something to my left foot last night and now it really hurts. Sure hope that goes away soon. Take good care Granny!
ReplyDeleteIt was chilly and dreary out and Dennis worked all day today so Zoey and I watched a couple of movies and I crocheted a shawl for the hospital.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is supposed to be better adn I hope the forecasters are right. I hope your Tuesday is a reat one.
Blessings,
Betsy
The night sky is going to be awesome tomorrow night, I sure hope we have clear skies for the event. All is well here, just living life as the Lord provides. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhen all the heavens show a spectacular event, it's overcast here. Never fails.
ReplyDeleteYesterday (Monday)...more yard work.
Thinking on this Tuesday afternoon about my Monday. It was a good day! We have a frost warning for overnight tonight, though. Seems as though the week is passing quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt was a cold day and I did odds and ends all day:)
ReplyDeleteI always try to keep Monday for Home Things, like laundry and cooking and organizing the schedule and calendar for the week. But this week Monday was a very busy day driving all over the place. Thank the Lord, Tuesday served as Monday usually does -- but I forgot to start the laundry, I was having so much fun cooking and washing dishes. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI cannot think what I was doing on Monday...I remember hearing about the planets and thinking it would probably be too overcast tosee anything.
