We're coming to an end of the sunny weather which we have sure enjoyed. A lovely walk Sunday morning over at Fish Trap Creek. We noticed that a number of big old trees have been cut down. I wonder if they were considered unsafe.
Any trees close to the water are protected from the beavers.
Obviously this one was not encircled with wire.
Someone must have fed the ducks

Happy First Day of Spring!!
Happy spring to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that several old trees were cut! What a pity! Was it really necessary? I ask, too. I would say to the word, if I could: Save trees in this time today! The ducks are cute.
What a nice walk...love the ducks!

What a lovely walk! Hope the sun 🌞 comes back soon!
ReplyDeleteI am always so envious of those that dee a wood duck!!!
ReplyDeleteOur Council often cuts down trees they say are becoming unsafe, which I don't mind as long as they continue planting new trees. We still have several trees fall down each time we get a major storm!
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you too.
I skipped my outside walk yesterday morning. It was only 10F.
The light rain has stopped and the sun peeks through the clouds occasionally. I guess the weather got the word that is is supposed to be spring now.
ReplyDeleteHappy spring to you. I had forgotten it was the first day of spring. :-) We did have a warm day today and I was able to take a nice walk on the trail with Zoey.

Lovely walk and I like ducks they are very funny to look at. Here it’s grey and raining for Spring.
ReplyDeleteHow fitting to encounter the ducks on the first day of spring <3 I admire your routine of walking outdoors.
ReplyDeleteLovely walk and a beautiful nature! Happy Springtime!

What a sweet walk! Love seeing those ducks. We have a park in our local city that most of us call the Duck Pond. Full of lovely ducks. Hope your week is lovely. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
