Signs of Spring

The sunshine has brought out the Crocuses and the bees are all over them  They're much smaller than regular bees. There's at least one in the crocus right in the front.

The chain that you see by these yellow ones anchors a bench. We have to chain on anything in the front yard or it disappears.

The chives are growing

I brought my seed chest onto the porch and looked at which seeds I had left from last year and what I needed to buy. It looks like all I need are bush bean seeds.  I may pick up another package of pole beans
so I don't run short.

Thanks for visiting,  Have a lovely Sunday,  GM

  1. That is a lot of teacups! I saw a few that I have too! Nice to see your flowers blooming. My roses are starting to bloom. I hope my plumerias have not drowned with all the rain we have had.

  2. Your crocuses are very nice and of a beautiful colour. I should put some on our garden. This year we won’t buy any new plants or seeds as the summer should be very dry and here we have water problems already. Unfortunately

  3. Isn't it a sad day when we now have to chain down our things? What kind of world is this becoming?
    Your flowers are beautiful!

  4. Beautiful! I've been doing yard work, nothing is in bloom yet but we are having a few days in the 50's and it feels wonderful to be outside after the long cold winter. Happy Springtime Sweet Friend !!!

  7. Crocus are so beautiful when they open their faces to the sun! Checking your seeds is a great way to welcome spring.

  8. Now really the new season is beginning! What lovely spring-lowers encourage to show their faces into the nice sun! It is good to look after the seeds from last year. My dear husband does the same!

  9. I love the pictures of your crocus...they are such a beautiful early spring flower. Can you use leftover seeds from last year and they will still grow well? Just wondering. :)

  10. It's wonderful to see signs of spring in your blog. It was so cold and snowy this week that we lost any color that was appearing.

  11. What pretty crocuses you have. They are so cheery and a real sign of spring. I've been looking at my old seeds, and deciding what to buy, too.

  12. So your things get stolen from your front yard? That’s terrible! Are you in the country so there are few close neighbors?
