Oh My but it's hot. I go outside and do what needs to be done early, then when the day heats up I go indoors. I hesitate to use the oven but yesterday I made a Blueberry Cobbler and had a fan blowing in the direction of the stove. It didn't help much.
Since not much is happening worth blogging about, I thought I'd show you some of the flowers blooming in my garden.
Rudbeckias
Maltese Cross (Lychnis Chalcedonica)
More Rudbeckias some Lychnis Coronaria, white Campanula and in the corner some pink Geraniums
Spiderwort

ReplyDeleteIt's always lovely to see flowers. I never tire of them. Outdoor work is kept to a minimum here, too. Stay cool!

Lovely flowers! We really do appreciate our air conditioning! I don’t turn on the oven without it! We’ve had some hot days recently, and we stay indoors in the cool. Be sure to stay hydrated!
ReplyDeleteGreat flowers!
ReplyDeleteA real paradise, your flower-garden! The Rudbeckias are one of my favorites - and in combination with all the different flowers they all make a wonderful painting!
ReplyDeleteThe old and the young "girls" are both young and very sweet!
Granny, I have all the flowers in my yard that you have in yours, except spider wort. And your post makes me realize that my Maltese cross has vanished. I probably weeded it out by mistake! 😣

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers. I'm in an imbetween time where I'm getting lots of buds on the lillies, but they're not yet open, too soon for the rose of sharons, and the iris are long gone, so.......lots of green currently except for a few pots of annuals I planted.
