It's my birthday and I've been having a lovely day of doing not much at all. I paid a brief visit to the thrift store ( went there mainly to drop boxes off) found a nice purse ($2.50), went to the library and picked up a book I requested as well as a novel in which the Royal Princesses, Elizabeth and Margaret are hidden away in the depths of Ireland during WWII. So I've been reading and visiting with the grands...generally enjoying my day.
Birthday Flowers
A book I may have posted about years ago. I know I've read it years ago and loved the words also the drawings.
Tomorrow I'll probably bake bread and clean the house but for now I'm a lady of leisure.
Thanks for dropping by, GM

ReplyDeleteHey Oma Goudsbloem (your name in Dutch) 🎉 Wishing you the happiest of birthdays! 🥳 How's it feel to be an August baby? My hubby and son just had their birthdays last week, it's a challenge when folks are often on vacation, missing out on cake time 🍰
ReplyDeleteKeep rocking that blogging game, especially with those awesome photos – they're like a window into a whole different world for me. Sending you lots of warm wishes and a big virtual birthday hug. I might be a tad late, but the sincerity is real: God bless you from the heart. 🎈🎂🤗
