  3. Happy Solstice to you! The winter sun is struggling to break through the fog, but it's bright with light. A good start to winter.

  5. It will be nice to have more daylight. I noticed here by me that the mornings still have a few minutes more darkness to go before the sunrises later, but it is lighter in the evening by a few minutes.

  6. It's been cold and gray and blah here, so your pretty snowflake picture is nice. Stay warm. I'm excited to hear the days will be longer and brighter, we really need the brighter.

  7. We hit our summer solstice at 4.27pm on Friday 22 December 2023 (today) - not that I need to be that particular about the time! Our weather normally gets hotter from now on, so I don't have to cry over our days growing shorter (at least, not yet!) :) xx

  16. Merry Christmas! Granny Marigold! I was so afraid of not getting to say Merry Christmas to my favorite blogging friends. Your lemon curd cookies are so pretty. I love the winter solstice picture. Hope you and all your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
