We don't have hedgehogs in Canada. I think they are so cute and couldn't resist posting this picture that I saw on Pinterest.
It's Monday and I'm doing laundry. I don't think I've ever shown my very old box of clothespins. The price is still on the box.....35 cents.
A much-loved but infrequently seen grandson is coming for a visit this afternoon. I likes the Peach Muffins that I make......Made these right after I came back from walking.
I better get back to my laundry.
Hope your week is off to a good start. Thanks for visiting
Yeah for a hungry visitor!!
ReplyDeleteI have a hedgehog who lives in my garden! Sometimes I see her having a little wander at night.
ReplyDeleteI am sure grandson will be happy with grandma's Peach Muffins!
ReplyDeleteIm glad your grandson came to visit. Peach Muffins sound delicious.. and I could just eat one with a nice cuppa as Ive been doing laundry all morning too.
ReplyDeleteIn England we call clothespins, pegs... but whatever the name theres nothing nicer than the fresh smell of laundry straight from the line.
Have a great week Granny

We call clothespins 'pegs' and I keep mine in an old tea-box. I have a friend who keeps hers in the large pocket of an apron. My mother always had a special cane basket for hers. Fascinating :)
ReplyDeleteI had to buy new clothespins last spring. I don't remember what the cost was but it was definitely more than yours!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute hedgehog. I saw a baby hedgehog video and fell completely in love. So cute! Your muffins look so delcious and and know your grandson will love them.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
I did my laundry on Sunday so we could run away to the Island on Monday. Today is cloudy but mild here on Sunlight Beach Road, perfect for walking. I got close enough to call it a mile, and now we'll settle in for a late lunch.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your grandson's visit. Those visits are to be cherished.
Not going to find clothes pins for that price anymore.
ReplyDeleteMuffins sure look good!!
Walking, laundry, muffins and posting!!! You are great!!!
ReplyDeleteI used to love to hang clothes out...it was one of the joys in life.
ReplyDeleteYep Granny, I'm doing laundry today too. Your peach muffins sound good.....how nice that you remember that your grandson likes them. You're a pretty cool Grandma!
ReplyDeleteHedgehogs are very cute. My daughter had one for a pet for awhile. I'm sure your grandson enjoyed those muffins!

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that your grandson is coming for a visit! Those peach muffins look so yummy. I know he will enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteYour old box of clothes pins is wonderful. I have an old bar of Ivory soap that's never been opened that I keep on a shelf in my bathroom.
ReplyDeletePeach muffins, yum. I'm sure your grandson will enjoy them and appreciate the love you put into them just for him.
Hi Granny! I love hedgehogs! We don’t have them here in Texas either but I wish we did!
ReplyDeleteWe have hedgehogs in our garden and they are so cute but my dog don’t like them… so I must be careful and protect them as they are not so many now in France , they are protected.
ReplyDeletePeach muffins! Nice.
