Full Moon

Time for the full moon once again. The September full moon is the Harvest moon....hopefully you will be able to see it either tonight or even tomorrow night.  I went out last night and although it was supposedly only 97% full I thought it was beautiful.

It was a cloudy but pleasant day here.  We took a number of boxes of 'stuff' to the thrift store  and I baked bread. Eldest Daughter and Kate came for a visit.  That was my day. I hope yours went well too.

Thanks for visiting

  1. Ooh, baking bread sounds so lovely. I bet your house smells wonderful.
Good on you for taking stuff to the thrift. Nothing like doing a bit of clearing out. Seems like I always have a box or bag filling up.

  2. Full moon is here tonight. I like watching it rise, but probably won't see much tonight as it is too cloudy. Your picture is gorgeous :)

We didn't do much either...I just did more cleaning out and organizing of cabinets.

  6. We had lots of rain here in the Black Hills last night so no sight of the moon. Maybe tonight. I absolutely love going to sleep with the sound of rain on the camper roof. It's so relaxing and soothing.
I'll bet your house smelled wonderful! I have always wanted to be a good bread baker. I've never have luck with yeast. I think I kill it.
I hope your day is a beautiful one.
    Blessings and hugs,

  9. Mary, I could also see the lunar eclipse here. There is no better aroma than the one that baked bread gives us at home.

  10. The Full Harvest Moon is really pretty. I've enjoyed looking out at it each night coming up over the Blue Ridge Mountains.
