Good Morning! I hope you're ready for a new week. I decided it was time to put away the Winter pretties and change the sideboard and old sewing machine to a more Spring look.
BEFORE
AFTER
We had a great walk this morning. At 10C (50F) the air was wonderfully mild. There was quite a heavy fog over the lake but in the east the sky had streaks of pink and mauve that caused us to stop and admire
the beauty.
I hope your day is a good one. Thanks for coming by, GM
Very pretty. It's so good to think about Spring now.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to doing the same, slowly adding things a little at a time. It does NOT look like spring outside.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your walk this morning.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty change you made. I am intrigued by the cups and saucers in the last photo. Particularly the shape of the saucers or should I say plates? They are really lovely.
I like your spring pretties. On Friday when we do our grocery shopping, I will buy my first bunch of grocery store flowers for this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready to think of spring yet. Time goes by much too fast already! :)
ReplyDeleteYou had an impressive morning-walk! Spring says hello from far away and is coming nearer every day with more light and new ideas. Here we are nor sure, if snow will come back next month. Biut the light says: winter is soon over! It is so fine to change the decorations in harmony with the seasons.
ReplyDeleteI like all of the dishes. Looking very nice :)
ReplyDeleteI love your cups and saucers. Esp the cups with the dishes. I have several boxes in my attic of those I think it is time to get them down.
ReplyDeleteWe have had snow snow and more snow with ice mixed in.

I think that must be the best part of Winter - being able to look forward to Spring! Your cups are very pretty and so cheerful :)
ReplyDeleteI like your Spring decoration. Here we have 10C but it is more like autumn, grey
ReplyDeleteAnd humid.
I do like your Spring decoration ...
ReplyDeleteWe've had a grey day today, but the temperature was quite reasonable.
All the best Jan
Spring sounds so very nice and I love your springy photos, but I can't think about Spring for quite a few months yet. Even though it is an el nino year with not as much snow as normal.....there is still snow and ice and many gray days and we won't see or feel Spring until late April...into May. I will enjoy Spring on your blog though!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe snow has melted here and the birds are singing... but spring will still take a while, although I'm already looking
ReplyDeletefor the snowdrops :-))
Your cups are beautiful. I would like to drink a coffee from it with you... and I have cake in the oven right now... I can bring Haaa.

I love the Spring things! I might do the same...
ReplyDeletehugs

I love the spring look you have going on! We are getting excited here, too, thinking about spring coming.
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty tea sets.
